Nina was one of our foster puppies, that I just could not bare to give up. She has been with us since she was 5 weeks old and weighed only 6 ounces! Our Vet had us feeding her soy based,baby formula and canned pumpkin for the first few weeks we had her. She now tops the scales at 3lbs / 8 oz. Her small stature does not hold her back for one moment. She runs circles around every dog in the house and puts them in their place's on a daily basis.
Yes,she is the Alpha dog in Our pack. She is a registered medical alert dog. she goes where i go. She is self taught,and lets me know when I am going to have trouble with my diabetes before i even know there is an issue! I would be lost with out her. we have a very strong bond. She goes bonkers of she can not be right by my side and keep me in her sight. sometimes i wonder if she thinks I am her puppy? hahaha would not surprise me.
She is such a great dog. she loves children,cats and elderly. I am currently working on getting her certified as a therapy dog so We can take her to our local V.A. and children's hospital.
