One day, when he was a puppy he would run around the house jumping every once in awhile. We realized later on he was playing with a cricket that kept jumping every few seconds. Another time he was on the end of his leash growling at this boxer every time it would jump at this little kitten. Turns out the kitten belonged to the boxers owners and the boxer was just playing. He about gives me a heart attack with how ridiculously brave he is. :)
