We a dopted Codey from a shelter ih Lynn Mass. We went there and wasw told to come back at 9AM as tyhey were releasing 17 dogs from quarentine the next day. We were there at 8:45AM. As we walked down the aisle, all of the dogs except for 2 were barking and jumping madley. Then we saw two dogs different. Oner was an older dog and then there was Codey, a little black ball of fluffy fur, just sitting there quietly waiting, I believe, for us to take hin home! As 3 yr old grand-daughter was living with us, I wanted to be sure she would be safe. We had also recently,,,one year ago, had to put our beloved Sasha down due to age, pain and quality of life issues, so our 19 yr old daughter had to bond. We went to the outside enclosure to check out Cody and have him check us out. He did not jump on my 4 yr old once and my daughters' handbag had fallen and her stuff had fallen out and he did not go near her stuff and seemed to respect her space. He was happy and awesome from that dayo and we immnediately took hin home and he has been a loving part of our family ever since.
