Nail trimming

dog groomers will clip your dogs nais for a small cost and you can always ask them to show you how far back to go. However with any dark nail it is always a guessing game and if you walk daily on cement or pavement the nails will get filed down nicely on their own.[:)]

My Chihuahua's

meat flavored gelatine is also a good suppliment for him to encourage good coat growth and to make sure he has enough in his tummy without overfeeding. Yoy can make it by simply boiling in water any meat bones. Boil them for atleast 1 hour and then drain the fluid into a bowl and refrigerate overnight. skim off all the hardened fat and give him a spoonfull of the gelatin with his food or as a snack.

New [grown] dog

She may never have been taught to potty outsied. I havetow Chi's and they are both paper trained. They will go on their paper but will not ask to go out ever. They have no problem going outside if I take the but otherwise on the go on their puppy pads. You can train her though to go the same way you would for a puppy by keeping her on a regular schedule of feeding and going out. Keep her in your sight and try to catch mistakes before they happen. It will atke time but it will happen.
